ここ最近の不動産価格は、政府の価格抑制努力にも関わらず、上昇局面にありますが、個人向け住宅の売買・賃貸の価格上昇率はゆるやかになってきています。直近の7月〜9月における売買価格の上昇率は1.3%で、4月〜6月の2.0%という上昇率を下回っています。個人向け住宅の賃貸価格も、直近の価格上昇率が0.8%、その前期が1.3%という上昇率を記録しており、不動産市場の景気拡大局面は終わりつつあると言えます。

ただコンドミニアムの価格に関しては、7月〜9月においても引き続き1.3%という前期（４月〜６月）同様の上昇率を記録しており、コンドミニアム市場は依然として活況を呈しています。

あるアナリストは、市場が過熱している要因として、「シンガポールの利用可能な土地の少なさ」と「投資家が依然としてシンガポールの不動産市場をリスクの少ない市場として見ている」という二点を指摘しています。

Standard Chartered analysts predict a fall in home prices, due to gloomy global outlook, shrinking demand and oversupply.
Property prices are still on the rise despite the government’s continuous efforts to curb pricing.
Be it sales or rentals, the rate of price increase is moderating.
Prices of private residential properties increased by 1.3% in 3rd Quarter 2011 (July-September), lower than the 2.0% increase in the previous quarter (April-June).
A point to note is that for the condominium price index, it showed the same percentage change over the previous quarter! It increased by 1.2% in the 2nd Quarter 2011 and once again increased by 1.2% in the 3rd Quarter 2011!!
This shows that the condominium sales market is still going strong! Some analysts say this could be due to the scarce land in Singapore and that investors still find Singapore property market a stable market to invest their funds in.
Rentals of private residential properties are also moderating and continued to increase by 0.8% in the 3rd Quarter 2011, as compared to the increase of 1.3% in the previous quarter.
Property markets go through cycles.
Anytime is a good time to buy and sell, as long as it meets your target pricing!

Cream inside the donut and the donut skin is very chewy… Perhaps that’s why they are called chewy donuts. (smile)

なので「ブキティママーケットのことはあんまり知らない」という方は、おそらくこのお店のこともご存知ない方が多いと思います。でも・・・

こんな看板なのに。。。おいしいんです:)一度食べれば分かるのか、いつも行列ができています。とはいっても何十分待ちというほど長くはありませんので、ぜひ一度行列に並んでみてください。特に油物が食べたいなあ、なんていう時にはオススメです。

店員さんはあなたが選んだ食材をその場で揚げてくれます。イカやひき肉、お豆腐、油条などの食材を出来立てカリカリで食べられます。私はソースをかけてもらうのが好きです。

料金に関しては、よくあるホーカーセンターの食事（だいたい３シンガポール・ドルぐらい）よりもちょっと高めです。だいたい７シンガポール・ドルぐらいでしょうか（ちなみに日記を書いているいま現在はおおよそ１シンガポール・ドル＝６０円なので、このお店の食事は４２０円くらいになります。）

私自身、結構長い間ひいきにしているお店です。皆さんもぜひここでお食事してみてください！

Bukit Timah Market “Zhong Zhong Fine Spice”
The signboard looks ordinary and not attractive, so if you’re new to Bukit Timah Market, you’ll probably not take a look at this stall.
But… the surprising thing is that it tastes really good! Yum yum… 
And there’s always a queue. Not so long to the extent that you will lose your patience waiting though.
When you want to go for some oily stuff once in a while, this can be your choice.
They will fry the food you choose, so it tastes really crispy and fresh from the wok! And the sauce is yummy… 
As for the price, it is not as cheap as the ordinary hawker centre food (usually about $3). It costs about $7. The food is “bee hoon” with side dishes like compressed minced meat, squid, beancurd, you tiao (dough with stuffed paste)…
Please try! I have been patronizing this stall for many years now… (thumbs up)

Property in Singapore
Everyone knows Singapore’s property prices continue to soar despite the government’s tremendous efforts to control the pricing, with some “cooling” measures. Example loan limitations, etc.
We hear about property news almost once in every 2 or 3 days.
Foreign investors and local buyers are still very “hot” about property purchase despite the increasing price.
Some say it is the peak now and wait for the price to drop, while others believe the price will continue to increase and are entering the market now.
I often hear that foreigners are very amazed at why Singaporeans love to talk about property. It is almost the topic of every Singaporean when they gather together. Interesting ya?
It is not surprising that investors love to “collect” properties in Singapore, especially new ones as they get more interesting with more and more facilities… 
Like this new condominium where home owners are just collecting their keys in September/2011, there are massage pavilions where residents can arrange for their own masseurs to come over. You can relax and enjoy massage even in your own condominium… 

Smuckers Jam
This brand’s jam is nice! There’s low sugar type and you can buy this type to reduce calories and sugar intake.
Not much brands carry low sugar jam…
And it is not expensive, about $5 per jar.
I think it’s good for people who like to keep slim and yet enjoy jam at the same time!
My choice!!

ちなみにこのターフシティへは、いくつかの場所からシャトルバスもでているようです。でも、普段は車で行くことが多いですね。
シンガポールには珍しく駐車場も無料ですし、車で向かうほうが便利なはずです！ここでお昼ご飯や夕飯を食べた後はジャイアントスーパーマーケットでお買い物も済ませられます。
　
ちょっとお話がそれました。レストランの話に戻ります。実はこのレストランの入り口の側には水槽があって、水槽にいるカニや魚を見て、食べたいものを選べるんです！！すごいと思いません！？人にもよると思いますが、私はとてもおもしろいと思います！
　
料理は美味しくて、そんなに高くありません。チリ風味の蟹はだいたい２０ドルから２５ドルぐらいで食べられます。炒飯もおいしいし、きっとあなたのお腹も満足させられるでしょう♪
　
あとあと、実はこのレストランにはスペシャルオファーがあって、いくつかのメニューは５０＆オフになるんです。ぜひこちらもお試しあれ。
他にもSambalというマレー系の風味のエイはシンガポーリアンの大好物なんです。日本の方にもぜひ挑戦してほしいです。（少し辛いので、そういう食事が大丈夫な方には特にオススメです）

Seafood is recommended at this place.
There seems to be some shuttle bus there. I’m not sure where to take the shuttle bus, but usually I’ll go by car. It seems more accessible and convenient to go by car. The parking is free! After lunch or dinner, you can drop by giant supermarket.
You can see and choose the seafood you wanna eat!! Exciting? It’s really up to individual’s thinking… I personally feel it’s interesting!
The food is nice and not expensive. A chilli crab costs about $20-$25. The fried rice is also yummy, fills up your stomach and nice. There is lunch special at this restaurant. 50% off for some menu, you must try!
Sambal stingray is the all-time favorite of Singaporeans. You must try! Some Singaporeans will just order sambal stingray with rice for a meal. It is spicy though…
